Zuma partners with Rocco Forte Hotels to debut in Munich
The Charles Hotel, a Rocco Forte Hotel has announced that it will play host to Zuma’s upcoming debut in Munich.
Set to launch in May 2024, the seasonal pop-up Zuma will be located in the hotel’s restaurant. The three-month-long experience will see Zuma bring its contemporary Japanese cuisine and signature informal izakaya dining concept to the city.
A Robata grill will form a theatrical centrepiece for terrace dining, allowing guests to experience the beating heart of Zuma’s cuisine. A full selection of Zuma’s signature dishes will be on offer, including spicy beef tenderloin with sesame, and grilled seabass with chilli and ginger.
Since its inception in London in 2002, Zuma has expanded its presence to 23 destinations worldwide. The new venture in Munich marks another significant milestone for the brand, following openings in Rome in 2016 and a pop-up concept in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, as well as Cannes.
“I am delighted to be working with Rainer Becker and proud to be hosting his extraordinary Zuma brand at The Charles Hotel in Munich,” says Sir Rocco Forte, Chief Executive and Chairman of Rocco Forte Hotels.
Becker, co-founder and creator of Zuma, adds: “It is a true honour to launch Zuma for the first time in Germany, alongside our esteemed partners, Rocco Forte Hotels. We are thrilled to become part of the heart of Munich and share our Zuma experience with the city.”
