The Savoy is set to launch a new dining destination, Savoy Lounge.

Slated to open in November, the new opening will be located in the former Thames Foyer, which will have undergone a transformation to create an energetic space combining The Savoy’s theatrical flair and relaxed charm.

Hotel guests and Londoners alike can expect menus that showcase traditional recipes with a modern twist and locally sourced ingredients. Service will evolve throughout the various stages of the day, and alongside The Savoy’s signature afternoon tea will be breakfast, coffee, lunch, cocktail hour and dinner.

The design aesthetic has been undertaken by London-based design studio Brady Williams and has focused on modernising the space whilst remaining true to its heritage. The atrium will retain its impressive ceiling feature but with modernised lighting. Meanwhile, a new central walkway will allow guests to easily navigate the space.

Black and white marble synonymous with The Savoy, fluted glass and gold embossed mirrors will be paired with sumptuous leather and patterned upholstery in soft pink, warm ochre and heritage tan.

In addition to Savoy Lounge, two further new outlets will open the same month. Introducing a first for the hotel, Scoff, The Savoy’s scone shop will offer both traditional and new scone creations for guests to enjoy with a tea or coffee, or to take home.

The Savoy’s florist team, led by Belinda Bowles, will open new boutique The Florist at The Savoy. The hotel has also confirmed a refurbishment of rooms and suites, which will be revealed in August 2025.
