The Pig has announced that its newest addition, The Pig at Harlyn Bay, is on course for opening on 31 July.
The 30-key, Grade II-listed property was due to welcome its first guests to the Cornish coastline on 28 April, but its launch was postponed due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Construction on the final stages has now restarted.
The group’s wider portfolio, government guidance permitting, will re-open on 4 July. The first night across every hotel will be given to NHS staff and carers on a complimentary basis, with guests able to stay from 6 July.
Health and safety measures have been introduced across the properties, including full-time cleaners for public areas, health screening for employees, and breakfast served at tables. Guests will be asked to pre-book their breakfast time, while lunch and dinner reservations will be staggered and menus available in advance.
Hand sanitiser will be present on every table, while spa treatment rooms remain closed until further notice.
The Pig in the South Downs is still due to open in Summer 2021.
