The Maybourne Beverley Hills debuts The Cigar and Whiskey Bar
The Maybourne Beverly Hills has opened The Cigar and Whiskey Bar, a distinctly atmospheric space now home to one of the finest collections of whiskey and cigars.
Designed as both an indoor and outdoor experience, the venue invites guests to relax in the wood-wrapped bar or sip in style on the relaxed outdoor terrace.
The venue is just one of just three destinations in the city of Beverly Hills where smoking is permitted, and one of only two where it is allowed without a membership. It also boasts a carefully curated menu of whiskeys sourced from some the best makers in the world including The Yamazaki from The Suntory Distillery in Japan to the famed Macallan distillery in Speyside, Scotland.
Complementing the whiskey list, the bar’s custom-made glass-encased humidor holds over 1,000 cigars with 64 stick variations featuring premium brands from the Caribbean to Central America. This was curated in partnership with cigar expert and founder Taz Ahmadi from The V Cut.
Guests can also sample handcrafted cocktails such as the Extra Fancy, a take on a classic old fashion, made from Michter’s 10-year-old, together with Maraschino and orange bitters. Curated by Executive Chef Kaleo Adams, the food menu features items including the Chefs Dozen, bespoke bites of Adams’ favourite ingredients of the season, including crab and lemon arancini, deviled egg niçoise and fig jamon ibérico.
The intimate bar features dark wood panelled walls and a statement bar with inviting leather armchairs and banquettes illuminated by surrounding Lalique wall sconces and light fixtures. Adjacent to the space, The Cigar and Whiskey Bar’s outdoor terrace boasts a palette of soft greens with lounge seating accented by marbled tables. Contemporary black and white portraits line the walls of four defined areas, which can be separated by white curtains to allow for privacy between parties.

The Cigar and Whiskey Bar joins the recently debuted all-day al fresco restaurant, The Terrace, expanding The Maybourne Beverly Hills’ portfolio of culinary offerings.
