The Hoxton is ushering in the warmer European weather with a new ‘Spring Spritz’ cocktail menu featuring guest serves from some of the world’s best-known bars.
The hotel brands Southwark and Holborn venues in London will offer the new menu, as will its addresses in Paris, Amsterdam and Poblenou, Barcelona. Each terrace will offer four new spritzes designed by The Hoxton Head Bartenders, plus one guest concoction created for each hotel individually by a guest bar.
Menu highlights include Palomar – a combination of Patrón Silver, Martini Fiero, Passion Fruit Liqueur and lime juice with London Essence Pink Grapefruit Soda – and Facundo Spritz – a heady combination of Bacardí Cuatro, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, Amaro Santoni and grapefruit bitter with London Essence Blood Orange and Elderflower Tonic.
There is also a Sen-Tei Spritz made using Grey Goose, Akashi-Tai Shiraume Umeshu and Martini Fiero, and G.E.T Spritzed’ which features Bombay Sapphire, Martini Ambrato and St Germain Elderflower Liqueur. Each drink includes mixers from the heritage brand The London Essence Company combined with premium spirits from the Bacardi portfolio, such as Grey Goose vodka, Patrón tequila, Bacardí rum, Bombay Sapphire gin and Martini vermouth.
Prolific bars in each city have also had a creative hand in boosting the menu with an individually-designed drink: in Southwark, it’s London’s Coupette bar serving the honours, while the British capital’s hip hangout Eve Bar has created a drink for The Hoxton Holborn. The Hoxton Paris has collaborated with Little Red Door for its one-off spritz, while in Amsterdam Flying Dutchman Cocktails has stepped up to the plate, and Paradiso has worked its magic on the menu in the newly-launched Hoxton Poblenou.
The Spring Spritz menu will be available across all European Hoxton Hotels from 27 April for three months.
