Severin*s to host four-hands dinners with Simon Hulstone
Severins*s – The Alpine Retreat in Lech Austria, will host exclusive four-hands dinners with Simon Hulstone this spring.
Hotel Chef Thomas Koch will welcome British chef Simon Hulstone, for collaborative showcase dinners for residents and non-residents in March. Hulstone is the proprietor of The Elephant in Torquay – the first in the region to be awarded a Michelin star and the only one to retain it since 2006.
Passionate about the local produce and area, Hulstone is a self-made ambassador for the English Riviera. In particular, he champions the ingredients grown and reared on the restaurant’s dedicated farm in South Devon.
“Our menu is based on products and suppliers from the area around Lech and Vorarlberg: Alpine products from small manufacturers all brought to the plate in new ways,” explains Thomas Koch. “While our basis is classic French cooking, our goal is the happiness of our guests and we look forward to welcoming them to these special four-hands events.”
Simon Hulstone adds: “I‘m really looking forward to cooking at Severin*s this spring, bringing with me my sustainable and modern cookery from my base here in south west England utilising our farm to plate ethos and working with Chef Thomas to add synergy with the fantastic produce of Lech and surrounding areas. We will be cooking my signature dishes with a subtle Austrian twist.”
