Patrón Tequila partners with Tom Sellers to host Mexican-inspired Feast of Colour
Patrón Tequila is teaming up with the acclaimed chef Tom Sellers this summer to bring a dash of Mexico to London.
The premium tequila brand is marking this year’s Patrón Paloma Week alongside the Chef Patron of the two-star Michelin Restaurant Story, in the form of The Feast of Colour, a sensorial experience that will take place on the hotel Vintry & Mercer’s central London rooftop.
The Feast of Colour celebrates the flavours and colours of the drink of the summer, the Patrón Paloma: a mixture of Patrón Reposado, fresh grapefruit juice, agave syrup, fresh-squeezed lime juice and sparkling water. The event will bring together a showcase of Mexican artisans that transport guests to the brand’s homeland in Jalisco, Mexico.
Central to the night is a four-course feast spotlighting a selection of masterfully handcrafted dishes inspired by the Mexican sunset. Sellers’ meticulously-crafted, intricate dishes range from a compressed melon and caviar plate featuring a tequila gel, to a colourful butter poached cod, citrus vierge and grapefruit sabayon main course and a fresh almond, butter and dill dessert.
“Inspired by the tastes, hues, and aromas of the iconic Patrón Paloma, The Feast of Colour will tell the story of summer by using seasonal British ingredients to elevate the cocktail into an immersive occasion,” said Sellers. “Meticulous craftsmanship is at the heart of everything we do at our Restaurant Story, and we’ve brought this same commitment and passion to celebrate PatrónPaloma Week. We’re more than proud to be part of the Patrón familia and to create a menu where our shared dedication results in true summertime perfection.”
The Feast of Colour will take place on 26 July.
