Pan Pacific London has introduced a new Summer Garden Afternoon Tea Collection, which will run until October 2023.
The new afternoon tea experience pays homage to the hotel’s Singaporean roots. Signature option Kopi Tiam offers up Southeast Asian savoury delicacies, including steamed lotus buns, stuffed with salted egg yolk and custard sauce, a steamed sweet potato bun topped with coconut flakes, and a siu mai basket of prawn, beef, spinach and mushroom dumplings.
Not neglecting the sweet, patisserie options spotlight fresh summer garden ingredients. Mint Breeze highlights flavours of mint, lime and rum, while Basil Smash is a delicate combination of British-grown basil and strawberries with a citrusy kalamansi. Lemon Drop sees lemon verbena topped with raspberry ‘soil’ and peach, while Tropical Storm balances dulce blond chocolate with banana and mango.
Accompanying food is an extensive list of teas from Rare Tea Company, as well as Champagne and English sparkling wine.
