Pacha Group, has announced the launch of its first hotel outside of Spain, Destino Pacha Mykonos.
The opening set for 1 June, signals the international expansion of the hospitality and lifestyle brand, bringing its imitable Ibizan experience to the Greek Islands.
Launching alongside Destino will be Lío Mykonos, an immersive cabaret dining experience curated by Pacha’s Creative Director Joan Gracia.
Overlooking the Aegean Sea, Destino Pacha Mykonos will combine traditional Mykonian architecture with innovative touches. Comprising 34 rooms with six spacious sea-views suites, the property features tiled floors and white-washed walls, which are complemented by natural wood, stone and linen, while the use of glass opens up views across the water.
The well-known Pacha pool scene with its buzzy restaurant, lounge and bar concept is at the core of the Mykonos experience. Playing host to a wide array of artists and performers, guests can expect a mix of world-renowned DJs and local talent.
Meanwhile, the hotel’s all-day Mediterranean restaurant will serve up locally sourced fare and will feature plenty of freshly caught seafood, amongst other specialities.
After the success of Lío’s pop ups in London and Sardinia, the one-of-a-kind immersive cabaret dining experience will land permanently in Mykonos town. Revellers can expect a unique and surprising display of burlesque, circus performances and gastronomy.
Nick McCabe, CEO of Pacha Group comments, “Destino Pacha Mykonos will be our first hotel outside of Spain and its opening is an important milestone in the evolution of Pacha. The low-key party vibe of this beautiful Greek island chimes perfectly with our birthplace and the opening of Destino, alongside Lío, is a fitting kick-off to our international expansion.”
The openings follow the announcement of Casa Pacha Formentera, a new luxury design hotel on Ibiza’s sister island, which will also be opening on 1 June as part of the ongoing expansion of Pacha’s hospitality arm. Several more launches from the brand are planned for 2022.
