The Swan at Ascott-under-Wychwood will welcome Giovann Attard, Executive Head Chef at The Stafford Collection’s Norma, for a one-night-only garden takeover on 13 July.
On the night in question, The Swan’s garden terrace will be transformed into an Italian trullo, as the aromas and flavours of Sicily are transported to the Cotswolds.
Guests can expect four courses of traditional Mediterranean delicacies influenced by the island’s Moorish spicing, with local ingredients used throughout. The menu will feature the likes of homemade focaccia, Scillian caponata, roasted courgette strozapretti and Ox grilled lamb chops, alongside pistachio tiramisu and yellow melon chilli sorbet to finish.
Giovann Attard’s unique culinary heritage – the chef originates from the Maltese island of Gozo – and his background at Sicilian-inspired Norma promise that the pop-up will be a tasty addition to the country hotel.
