Lorto at Nordelaia continues international chef pop-up series
Lorto, the destination restaurant at 12-room Piedmont hotel Nordelaia, is set to host a range of international chefs as part of a seasonal pop-up series.
Each chef has worked with Resident Chef Charles Pearce to devise a one-off seasonal menu that will be served at Lorto for only two nights per menu. To kick off 2024, Jacob Kenedy – from London-based Italian restaurant Bocca di Lupo – and Will Devlin of The Small Holding in Kent, will be cooking in June and October respectively. Roberta Hall McCarron, of The Little Chartroom and Eleanore in Edinburgh, will be popping up in November.
Dinners will begin with a welcome drink on the terrace overlooking Piedmont’s rolling hills, where Pearce and the guest chef will introduce guests to the restaurant, and their inspiration for the evening ahead. A selection of snacks will precede the main event, which entails a four-course menu featuring either a series of fully collaborative dishes, or alternating courses, showcasing each chef’s cooking styles.
Optional wine pairings will also be available, including the chance to try Nordelaia’s own wine, new for 2024.
