Hotel Pulitzer Barcelona introduces new seasonal menus

Hotel Pulitzer Barcelona, a Michelin Guide Hotel, has reopened with a new seasonal menu in both its restaurants, La Esquina and The Greenhouse.

Slow food cuisine, seasonal vegetables, local meats, fresh fish, organic wines and artisan desserts are what to expect at The Greenhouse, which is surrounded by plantation and natural light in an outdoor garden, the Fresco.

Seasonal ingredients are sourced from local suppliers known for the quality of their work and production processes. A menu featuring garden dishes like cauliflower marinated with turmeric, cinnamon, yogurt sauce, and feta; rice dishes such as the creamy seafood and mountain rice; fish dishes – monkfish in a stew with coastal prawns; is finished off with meat dishes such as braised cheeks with celeriac puree. It is a healthy and fresh proposal with vegetarian options and a daily menu in an atmosphere that invites you to disconnect.

Surrounded by spectacular views of Barcelona, The Terrace, is the crown jewel of the hotel. With one of the most recognised rooftops in the city and located on the sixth floor, The Terrace offers six months of local music programming, featuring sessions from the emerging music scene and live concerts under the Buenastardes Pulitzer festival.

The experience is completed with signature cocktails, such as the Smash Berry with gin, strawberry, basil, lemon, and agave; La Dalia with tequila, Cointreau, lime, orange, pineapple, orgeat, and passion fruit, or Pulitzer Fizz.

Located in the centre of Barcelona, in a 19th-century art deco style building, Pulitzer Barcelona is an eclectic hotel brimming with artwork. Its design and style reflects the bustling city, but also acts as a refuge for those looking to immerse themselves in the cultural pulse of Barcelona.

The experience of the hotel begins in its newly renovated Lobby, a versatile meeting space decorated with designer furniture and vintage neutral pieces. Here, there is a menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while the public and guests can enjoy cocktails, musical sessions and pop-ups from local brands.

A sense of comfort extends to 91 rooms, designed by Spanish interior designer and painter – Lázaro Rosa-Violán. Here, Violán wanted to embody the unique charm of a boutique hotel. Rooms are filled with light, interior details and textures as well art nouveau bathrooms where the sky-blue tiles are the protagonists. Typical Eixample style balconies and terraces can be transformed into shared spaces such as in the Signature Terrace rooms or the Suite, with its own private outdoor area of 30m filled with foliage.
