Michelin-starred chef Hélène Darroze and her team are offering signature dishes from her eponymous restaurant Hélène Darroze at The Connaught to be delivered to people at home.
The five-course ‘Hélène à la Maison’ menu has been created to give the experience of the esteemed Mayfair restaurant at home and will run until January 2021.
Debuting dishes include foie gras with celeriac, apple and pear chutney, XXL hand-harvested scallops from Scotland served in their shells as well as Hélène’s Vol au Vent ‘A la Francaise’ with lobster and ragout.
Meanwhile, the cheese course features Ossau Iraty with pâte de coing maison, nuts, sesame seeds and herb crackers, while a decadent chocolate dessert – a signature canelé cake – offers a final culinary flourish.
For avid gourmands, additional showstoppers include caviar alongside sea urchin and cauliflower with pearl spoon and potato gnocchi with egg yolk delivered with white truffle and its very own truffle shaver.
Speaking about the new dining delivery service, Hélène Darroze comments, “We look forward to spreading a little bit of positivity and joy with our food, even further than Mayfair, and into people’s homes. As always, for me, supporting and showcasing our longstanding suppliers is my highest priority, and it’s never been more important than now.”
