Camiral introduces new Catalan fine-dining restaurant, Origin
Spanish lifestyle resort Camiral Golf & Wellness has introduced Origin, a new fine-dining restaurant concept celebrating ancient Catalan flavours.
Located just twenty minutes from Spain’s gastronomic capital, Girona, Origin reflects the region’s culinary heritage and promises an elevated, gastronomic journey.
Set in a contemporary space, designed in natural tones and luxurious textures, the intimate 25-cover restaurant offers a personalised experience, and is the brainchild of Chef David Vives, who began his career with ten years at Girona’s El Celler de Can Roca.
With dishes featuring locally sourced ingredients like fresh seafood and organic seasonal vegetables produced in the area, global influences inspire Origin’s craft. Menu highlights include foamed potato with bacon and grilled octopus, sea cucumber with black botifarra sausage, seabass with hazelnut sauce and caviar and a peach and toffee tart.
“The essence of Origin lies in our commitment to showcasing the rich culinary heritage of Catalonia in a creative and welcoming manner,” says Vives. “Our seasonally-changing, set menu celebrates the diversity of local ingredients, offering a delightful exploration of flavours that captivate and inspire.”
Set within the 1,300-acre Camiral Golf & Wellness resort, Origin joins existing dining options, the new Camiral Bistro, The Club Café, Lounge Bar and family-orientated Bella’s Pizza and Salad.
