Gastronomic hotel Xenodocheio Milos is set to officially open its doors in Athens on 15 January 2022. The luxury 43-key boutique hotel is the first from the renowned Greek restaurant brand Estiatorio Milos.
Xenodocheio Milos will focus on ‘philoxenia’ – the sacred art of making a stranger feel at home – placing the emphasis firmly on world-class cuisine. Founder and Executive Chef Costas Spiliadis has curated a refined menu of Mediterranean dishes that incorporate his cooking philosophy of minimum interference and respect for the highest-quality products and ingredients. Simple and elegant, the cuisine will encompass mouth-watering Oysters, fresh Greek Ceviche and wild red Madagascar shrimp, as well as celebrations of traditional Greek desserts such as Karidopita and Baklava.
The hotel, which is situated in the heart of the Greek capital opposite the Old Parliament, features individually-designed rooms and suites highlighting the best of Athenian style. Designed by Divercity and Nikolas Travasaros, the interiors feature neo-classical details such as high ceilings, marble bathrooms and the finest bed linens throughout. The conversion of the historic building itself into a luxury hotel was completed by A1 Architects and Dimitris Agiostratitis. In addition to the culinary offering, guests will benefit from wellness experiences and facilities such as rooftop yoga and a boutique gym.
