Spotlight: The Gats by ONIS

ONIS expands its collection with The Gats range, a nod to the timeless elegance of Art Deco and the glamorous world of ‘The Great Gatsby’.

The Gats collection takes its name from a prize-winning design in the second edition of the Glassology by ONIS Design Contest, conceived by Belgian designer Yochen Verbeeck. Inspired by geometric forms and smooth lines, the design echoes the elegance of the Golden Age of Art Deco and a personal touch from Verbeeck’s memory of a vase from his grandmother’s home.

The collection initially launched with The Gats Rocks tumbler, embodying the sophistication of the 1920s while offering a contemporary edge. Its success led to the expansion into three shapes: Rocks, Highball, and DOF, broadening the appeal and functionality of the range.

Now, ONIS introduces The Gats Stemware, featuring two elegant shapes: the Cocktail and Coupe glasses. Developed in collaboration with Verbeeck, these glasses retain the collection’s signature design elements, combining geometric precision with graceful curves. They are designed to elevate the drinking experience, bringing a touch of classic style to modern bars, hotels, and restaurants.

ONIS is the brand of two European glassmakers, dedicated to producing glassware that is both distinctive and authentic. By focusing on bold design and meticulous details, ONIS aims to enhance the art of drinking, making each glass a statement piece.
