Franke Coffee Systems’ BeyondTraditional product category is continuing to garner success, with its flagship Mytico machine winning two leading industry awards.

Mytico coffee machines are aesthetically pleasing and easy to use. Most recently, Mytico scooped the 2024 IF Design Award Gold, underlining Franke’s goal to combine unique design and state-of-the-art technology in order to raise the coffee experience to a new level.

Presented annually by the IF international Forum Design in Hanover – the world’s oldest independent design institution – the iF Design Award is judged by a jury of 132 independent experts from all over the world. Together they evaluated almost 11,000 entries from 72 countries, of which only 0.7% were awarded gold.

The design experts were impressed by Mytico’s fusion of cutting-edge technology, elegant Italian design and user-oriented functionality: “The Mytico coffee machine by Franke was awarded gold for its outstanding material authenticity and modularity. The intuitive UI was also a key factor in our decision. The iconic form of a traditional Italian coffee machine is seamlessly integrated with the technology and speed of a fully automatic machine. A clear winner.”

Mytico also received the 2023 Good Design Award in the Retail Fittings category, marking the machine’s fifth award. In addition to the international MICE Product Innovation Award 2023 and the SMART Label award from the HostMilano trade show, Mytico also won the coveted German Design Award at the end of 2023, one of the most prestigious prizes for outstanding design quality.
