Introducing IH Connects, the new digital platform from the Independent Hotel Show
The Independent Hotel Show is bringing hoteliers and hospitality businesses together, with the launch of a new online community.
The UK show has rolled out IH Connects, an online platform that aims to provide hotel industry players with year-round content. This will include webinars, demonstrations, thought leadership articles and research.
The platform also includes a searchable database of suppliers catering to the independent market, allowing users to discover and contact companies working in a range of categories such as design, sustainability, hospitality tech and food and beverage solutions. Virtual showrooms mean that suppliers can also use the platform to showcase their work.
On-demand seminar content from the 2021 edition of the Independent Hotel Show – held in London on 4-5 October – will be available on the platform. The recorded sessions cover relevant and timely topics such as sensory design, sustainability and the effective use of customer data, and explore current industry issues such as recruitment, retention and the revitalisation of the urban hotel market.
The show has also teamed up with organisations, including the hospitality analytics firm STR, Hospitality Jobs UK and The Institute of Hospitality, to provide beneficial partner content for users.
“The new IH Connects platform will allow the Independent Hotel Show to engage with our community year-round and enable our audience to expand on connections made at the live event,” says Event Director Elena Attanasio. “The show is known for the quality and variety of hotel suppliers on display and this new platform provides a valuable new resource for independent hoteliers to seek out unique products and innovative services.”
The Independent Hotel Show spotlights a carefully-curated collection of more than 250 exhibitors each year. It showcases the most innovative ideas, products and services across the boutique and independent hotel sector. The show returns to the Olympia London on 4-5 December 2022.
