Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa appoints Lee Cooper as Executive Head Chef
Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa in Newmarket, Suffolk has welcomed Lee Cooper as its new Executive Head Chef of Squires Restaurant and Roxana Bar.
Staffordshire-born Cooper joins Squires Restaurant from his role as Executive Chef at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall in Ipswich. Prior to Milsoms, he honed his skills at The Crewe Hall Hotel and Mottram Hall Hotel, before moving to East Anglia where he worked for a variety of hotels and restaurants, including Infusions Bury St Edmunds and The Oaksmere in Eye.
Cooper will bring his wealth of experience in high-end gastro-style dining to Squires Restaurant to showcase the very best produce from Suffolk and Cambridgeshire. The chef vows to continue Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa’s commitment to supporting the suppliers within the local community, reducing their carbon footprint as a result where possible.
