Forty One Madison has revealed the line-up for its Future of Hospitality webinar, which will take place as part of a multi-channel experience for New York Tabletop Market between 13th and 20th October.
Alongside in-person pre-booked appointments, 41 Madison has curated a full schedule of virtual programming including interactive workshops, culinary experiences and webinars as part of its new digital show hub.
Taking place on Thursday 15th October and moderated by Supper Magazine’s Assistant Editor, Jenna Campbell, The Future of Hospitality panel discussion will address the impact of the pandemic on the industry as well as the opportunities for innovation in the months and years ahead.
The star-studded line-up of panellists includes Michele Caniato, Chief Brand Officer of leading lifestyle hospitality brand sbe; Daniel Boulud, lauded Michelin-starred chef and philanthropist; and Matthew Berman, Founding Principal of award-winning architecture and interior design firm Workshop/APD.
Despite the challenges still being faced throughout the industry, chef Daniel Boulud, who helms no less than 12 restaurants, has recently launched a new indoor dining pop-up, Boulud Sur Mer, at his flagship two Michelin-starred restaurant Daniel on New York’s Upper East Side and has also forged ahead with plans to open a large-scale restaurant, Le Pavillon, which is scheduled to open early next year.
Meanwhile, Matthew Berman of Workshop/APD and his team are currently working on several hotel projects, including Banff Hotel in Canada and Hotel Hanalei Bay – Starwood Capital’s transformation of the Princeville Resort, opening in Hawaii in 2021.
Michele will also discuss sbe’s pipeline of projects including Mondrian Seoul Itaewon, the hospitality group’s first Mondrian-branded hotel in the Asia Pacific region in partnership with Accor, as well as the development of Citizens in Manhattan, a culinary destination bringing together a curated collection of established brands, restaurants and bars. Under the umbrella of the hospitality brand’s recently launched C3 (Creative Culinary Communities) subsidiary, a delivery-focused food and beverage platform that has been established in line with evolving customer preferences for food halls and mobile delivery, which has been accelerated during the pandemic.
Pre-registration for The New York Tabletop Show Virtual Experience is exclusive to the trade including wholesale buyers, designers, chefs, and the hospitality industry.
