Independent hospitality brand Ovolo Hotels has unveiled its ‘Wonder. Full.’ series as it adapts its policies and packages in response to the Coronavirus crisis.
For those still staying in its properties in Australia and Hong Kong, dining options have been evolved to allow guests to isolate in comfort whilst still adhering to government restrictions on travelling and self-isolation.
Adapting its much-loved Social Hour concept, drinks and accompanying bar snacks will now be delivered directly to rooms as part of a new trolley service – with the option of a second tipple just a phone call away.
Meanwhile, restaurants at three of the brand’s properties have been transformed in order to cater for in-room dining and takeaway, including plant-based eatery Alibi Bar & Kitchen and Tel Aviv-inspired Za Za Ta Bar & Kitchen.
In a measure to further promote social distancing, flexible check-in and check-out times have been introduced and longer stays with special rates are on offer for guests needing to isolate but wanting to do so in comfort and style.
For those staying for seven days or longer, perks include in-room complimentary breakfast, a loot bag filled with treats and Smart TV with Amazon Prime and Netflix streaming.
“Going against the grain is in our DNA,” says Girish Jhunjhnuwala, Founder and CEO of Ovolo Hotels. “With every touch point, we continuously strive to innovate, times like these require no other approach. By embracing the situation, we must adapt so we can continue to provide a unique and effortless experience.”
