The Hotel, Restaurant & Catering Show (HRC) has been given approval to go ahead on 22-24 March 2021 after the government and ExCeL London confirmed the easing of restrictions from the beginning of October.
For many exhibitors, HRC’s 2020 show, held in early March, was the last major foodservice and hospitality event to take place before national lockdown was announced.
Many have welcomed the news as an opportunity to get back to face-to-face interaction having relied heavily on video conferencing for both demonstrations and client meetings in recent months.
Ronda Annesley, Event Manager for HRC commented: “There is nothing quite like the buzz of an exhibition hall and there is no doubt that being able to touch, smell, feel and see products in real life, will always be more effective than any online experience.”
“For exhibitors, the opportunity to meet serious buyers face to face can completely change the sales dynamic and with so many key contacts working from home recently, HRC will provide the ideal opportunity to re-engage with customers both old and new,” she added.
Bringing together four shows covering everything from F&B, catering equipment, interiors, technology, panels and masterclasses, HRC is dedicated to showcasing the latest innovations in hospitality and foodservice and its return signals the return to business for many of its visitors, albeit with increased health and safety procedures to ensure a completely safe and hygienic environment.
