AHEAD Europe shortlist reveals the region's best hotel F&B

The AHEAD Europe shortlist for 2020 has been announced, with the the region’s best hotel F&B projects recognised across the Restaurant and Bar, Club or Lounge categories.

An independent panel of experts, chaired by Stuart Adolph – Senior Vice President, Development, Europe, Sydell Group – will now judge the projects not only on their creative excellence but also on commercial viability, whittling them down to 15 final winners across the different categories.

Amongst the shortlisted Bar, Club or Lounge projects is Double Standard at The Standard Hotel, The Lobby Bar at One Aldwych, and The Malt Lounge at The Prince Akatoki; meanwhile, shortlisted Restaurant projects include Hélène Darroze at The Connaught, Helios at Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens, and Mouries at Cretan Malia Park.

Whilst the hospitality industry faces testing times, the AHEAD programme will continue to recognise the achievements of designers, developers, architects and operators alike, and this year is no different. Winners will be announced on Monday 16 November as part of a virtual awards presentation broadcast on the AHEAD and Dezeen websites.
