The Barcelona Edition welcomes Martina Puigvert and Alejandro Serrano
Veraz, the signature restaurant at The Barcelona Edition, is set to host a gastronomic collaboration between Martina Puigvert, chef of Les Cols in Olot, and Alejandro Serrano, chef of Alejandro Serrano in Miranda de Ebro.
Following their first Four-Hands event at Tivoli in Copenhagen, the two Michelin-starred chefs will reunite for a single evening at Veraz, a restaurant focused on honest cuisine and seasonal products from the nearby Santa Caterina Market.
With its oversized floor-to-ceiling windows and central bar crafted from aged brass, Veraz offers a vibrant setting for the collaboration, blending Barcelona’s local culture with an intimate city atmosphere.
In addition to Puigvert’s ongoing collaboration with the hotel restaurant, where she has introduced six dishes reflecting her dedication to simplicity and the essence of Catalan cuisine, this exclusive event will feature a seven-course menu for one seating only showcasing the best of both chefs’ talents.
The experience will commence with a glass of Damm Inedit beer, with the option to pair the dishes with a selection of wines from the Álvaro Palacios winery.
The tasting menu alternates between Puigvert’s creations, such as Egg with Vegetables, Olive Bouquet, and Cottage Cheese Flower alongside Serrano’s offerings which include Carbonara, Turbot with Flowers, Blossom Squid, and a dessert made with toffee, rooibos and strawberry.
