Mar-Bella welcomes Nicholas Poulmentis for Greek Chefs series

The Mar-Bella Collection is welcoming Nicholas Poulmentis as the final chef in its Greek Chefs Abroad series.

For a fourth year, the series showcases a curated selection of pop-up tasting dinners hosted by Greek chefs across two properties, adults-only Nido in Corfu and the Elix, located near Parga.

This year’s programme aims to create a culinary journey inspired by ‘the culture of sharing’, echoing the spirit of Greek dining, where meals are best enjoyed among friends and family.

The final pop-up takes place at Elix’s restaurant, Pearl, hosted by Poulmentis, Executive Chef of Noema in Long Island, New York.

Born in New York to Greek parents, Poulmentis moved to Greece at a young age and spent his formative years on the Greek island of Kythira. He will collaborate with Elix Head Chef Dimitris Kakalikidis to create a menu with influences, flavours and flair from Greece and his second home.

The Mar-Bella Greek Chefs Abroad series has so far welcomed chefs from Brussels, Bangkok, New York and Vienna.

This includes two-Michelin-starred restauranteur and Head Chef of Vienna-based restaurant, Konstantin Filippo, Japanese-inspired minimalist restauranteur of Ore in Bangkok, Dimitrios Moudios and Brussel-based sustainable restauranteur of Màloma, Georges Athanassopoulos.
