The Dorchester has announced the return of The Dorchester Rooftop, set to open on 29 June with a pop-up inspired by a secret English garden.
Serving a brunch-style sharing menu crafted by culinary director Martyn Nail, The Dorchester Rooftop will be home to an array of new dishes alongside a summer garden-inspired cocktail menu, all with a backdrop of views across Hyde Park and Central London.
Infused with ingredients found in the hotel’s herb garden and topped off with striking floral garnishes, the new cocktail menu will include beverages like ‘Endless Summer’ and ‘Prairie Breeze’, with select cocktails served tableside from a bar trolley with a mixologist demonstration.
The rooftop’s summer-inspired food menu includes highlights like caviar, oysters and fruit de mer, with larger plates like grilled Cornish lobster fregola, côte de boeuf and truffle risotto. Additionally, desserts will range from summer berry cheesecake to The Dorchester’s signature 68% chocolate parfait. For those looking for lighter bites to accompany the cocktail menu, smaller nibbles like tempura prawns with ponzu mayonnaise, rooftop sliders and truffle eclairs will be available.
Keeping décor on theme, the rooftop space will be complete with herb gardens, foliage-covered decking, flowerpots and fairy lights.
