Pine Cliffs, A Luxury Collection Resort in the Algarve has announced that the signature Chef’s Table culinary experience at its cooking school Mimo Algarve will now be taking place weekly throughout the year.
From this month, hotel guests and members of the public will have the opportunity to be hosted by the resort’s own chefs and sommeliers, with VIP chefs invited to host on certain dates. The adult-only events will see participants greeted with a welcome drink outside Mimo Algarve, before heading inside to the open kitchen, where they will be able to watch the chef prepare each dish and learn more about the techniques and ingredients used.
Guests will then enjoy an 8-course dinner carefully designed to highlight the best seasonal produce of the Algarve and paired with local wines. The chef will sit down with diners and everyone will enjoy the meal together.
The announcement follows a successful, limited series of four Chef’s Table events held over the summer as part of the resort’s 30th anniversary celebrations. Over the course of the special events, the resort welcomed some of the most renowned chefs in Portugal, all of them former members of the Portuguese MasterChef jury.
Open all year around, Mimo Algarve also offers a number of unique gastronomy experiences including hands-on workshops allowing participants of all ages to discover the history of local dishes, >a Wine & Tapas event with a menu spotlighting the Algarve, and an Espresso Bar where visitors can enjoy artisan pastries and signature coffees.
Pine Cliffs Resort is owned by United Investments Portugal (UIP), part of Talal Investment Group consortium based in Dubai. One of Europe’s leading integrated luxury and family resorts, the resort has scooped a multitude of accolades at the World Travel Awards, including winning Portugal’s Leading Family Resort six times. In addition to Mimo, the property features 12 diverse F&B concepts onsite.
