Storied St. Moritz venue Paradiso Mountain Club & Restaurant is marking its first-ever summer season under the management of Badrutt’s Palace Hotel.
The alpine eatery is serving up panoramic mountain views and sunny terrace sessions alongside a brand-new seasonal menu that puts local produce front and centre. Badrutt’s Palace Hotel’s chef duo Maxime Luvara and Loris Di Santo have collaborated on the new offering, which puts a summery spin on alpine comfort food.
Highlights include the Paradiso crudité basket to share, Panzanella salad with heirloom tomatoes and apple-cider vinaigrette, Swiss beef tartare with pommes allumettes, and grilled sole fillet with herbs, sautéed asparagus, artichokes and Roseval potatoes. The hotel has also partnered with the famous Hotel Sacher in Vienna to offer freshly-made Sacher cakes and indulgent Viennese coffee specialties for dessert.
Paradiso has also welcomed back its luxurious Gucci Lounge for the new season, in addition to teaming up with the hat-maker Borsalino on an exclusive collaboration. There is also a petanque field on the venue’s upper terrace, where guests can make the most of the in-house instructor, or enjoy a refreshing pastis or glass of rosé.
Accessible for the first summer season in 30 years is the three-storey hotel suite, Tower Penthouse Apartment. Situated in the Engadin Valley with unobstructed lake views, the apartment features four individually-decorated bedrooms each with a bathroom en-suite, an elegant living room, and two spacious balconies.
