One Hundred Shoreditch opens new London rooftop
London’s East End neighbourhood is set to welcome a new roof terrace on 19 May, with the opening of the Rooftop Bar and Terrace at the Lore Group hotel One Hundred Shoreditch.
The redesigned space channels the glamour of Palm Springs, exuding a playful energy via its infectious combination of pink décor, sleek marble and verdant succulents and cacti. But while the vibe echoes the best of California, the panoramic views of the city’s skyline offer the quintessential London experience.
One of the few non-member rooftops in the heart of Shoreditch, the venue is aimed at everyone from locals and groups of friends to city workers ready for a post-work drink. Cocktails are a key part of the experience here: specialities include the Spicy Margarita with Patron silver infused with jalapeño, agave syrup and lime, and The One Hundred Punch, made with Bacardi Cuatro, Koko Kanu, supasawa, Cointreau, matcha and orange juice.
The food is described as ‘retro Californian cuisine’ and highlights are set to include classic comfort food dishes such as tacos served alongside devilled eggs. Soft shell crab burgers, grilled king prawns and cured salmon tostadas also appear on the menu.
The Rooftop is the latest F&B concept to launch at One Hundred Shoreditch, which also operates the British seafood restaurant Goddard & Gibbs.
