Brøchner Hotels has launched its GO LOCAL concept in partnership with more than 30 local players, which aims to support business and culture in Copenhagen.
The concept invites guests and neighbours to explore the city and take part in unique experiences, personal discounts and benefits that can help support Brøchner Hotels’ curated list of partners, including restaurants, cafes, bars, cultural institutions, galleries and shops.
All the local partners are located within a short distance of the brand’s five boutique properties in the city and will offer discounts and complimentary gifts as well as menu offers and signature cocktails.
Partners include popular micro-brewery Mikkeller, who are offering 10% off all bars and restaurants in the city, Tramonto, an Italian rooftop restaurant and bar and Surt pizzeria, who are offering discounts on desserts and dessert wines.
The partners can be found on an interactive map in each of the hotel’s lobby bars, allowing guests to scan the neighbourhood of Copenhagen that they wish to explore.
“The idea behind GO LOCAL has been underway for a long time. We wanted to point out places in the city that we would visit ourselves, and thereby offer our guests personal recommendations,” says Nickolas Krabbe Bjerg, CEO of Brøchner Hotels.
“We are overwhelmed by the support we have received. Many partners quickly responded with great deals and offers. And we have felt a local unity and goodwill to get through a difficult time. We are all in the same boat — we need more visitors,” explains Bjerg.
The launch of the locally minded concept builds on the success of the company’s existing ‘Hey Neighbour’ advantage programme, which launched in 2014.
Hotel guests and Hey Neighbours can take part in the initiative by presenting a Hey Neighbour card, key card, or booking confirmation from Brøchner Hotels.
