Nobu Hotel Warsaw is slated to open on 3rd August, with its dining facilities – including the city’s first chef-led destination restaurant – opening on 17 July.
Situated in an area of Warsaw that is fast becoming the city’s foodie hub, the property will mark the group’s 43rd restaurant and 12th hotel – the first of which to open in Poland.
Designed by Polish architecture firm Medusa Group and California-based Studio PCH, the interiors exude a sense of calm with Japanese design.
As with all Nobu hotels worldwide, the Warsaw property will house a signature restaurant & café. The outpost will be headed by Executive Chef Yannick Lohou, who has transferred over from Nobu Hotel Barcelona.
The restaurant concept is based on Chef Nobu’s inventive, non-traditional cuisine which showcases high-quality produce, colour and texture. The menu of classic Japanese dishes will be created with South American ingredients, consisting of classics such as Toro Tartare with Caviar and Beef Yoban Yaki.
Unique to this restaurant, the menu will also comprise Nobu Now – a series of Polish-inspired dishes created by Executive Chef Yannick Lohou, which draw on fresh local produce.
Following new health and hygiene measures following the coronavirus pandemic, the restaurant and café will operate with reduced capacity upon opening, whilst guests will also have the option for in-room dining, should they prefer.
