Informa Markets has announced that the 2020 edition of FHA-Horeca will be postponed until 10-13 May 2022 at Singapore Expo.
The decision was made following close consultation with the industry, given the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic being felt throughout the global hospitality and tourism sectors.
FHA-Horeca is an expansion of Food and Hotel Asia (FHA) – one of Asia’s longest-running food and hospitality biennial trade events in the region.
The gathering sees representatives from hotels, restaurants and café suppliers come together to discover the latest in food service and hospitality equipment, products and services.
“It is heartening to see positive signs that recovery has started in some domestic markets, however it will be a little longer before a full rebound of the international hospitality and tourism sectors can materialise,” comments Martyn Cox, Event Director, F&B, Informa Markets Singapore .
“The decision to cancel was a tough one to make, but without suitable tenancy availability in the correct time period for the industry, this is very much the right decision for our customers.”
The FHA team will contact all exhibitors, visitors and partners to discuss and plan for their future participation in FHA-Horeca 2022.
