UK-based gastronomy design studio Kitchen Theory has launched its Multisensory Dining at Home service – a pre-ordered, 4-6 course menu delivered to participants along with complementary sensory elements like texture cubes, tableware, and a curated playlist.
Marking the latest F&B practice to turn to remote and digital-supported experiences in response to social distancing measures, the service is pre-prepared and designed for the host to finish in their own kitchen, whilst a virtual chef hosts the experience on the night, providing insight into the stories behind each dish. The concept can also be tailored in advance to suit a host’s requirements, taking into account kitchen layouts, appliances and skill level.
Overseen by London-based Chef Jozef Youssef, Kitchen Theory is a design experience studio that works alongside scientists and psychologists to create distinctive F&B concepts including the immersive Chef’s Table, a 10-course dining club menu incorporating audio, lighting, aromatic and textural elements.
