Set to open this summer in Stari Grad, Croatia, Maslina Resort has announced that Patricia Yeo, who holds two Michelin stars, will join as its Head Chef.
The former TV personality, who has appeared on Iron Chef America and Top Chef Masters, was previously at Shita Mani, a Bensley Collection hotel in Cambodia.
Embracing Maslina Resort’s wellness philosophy, the F&B focus is on healthy Mediterranean cuisine with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free dishes created for guests upon request.
With an organic ‘zero kilometre’ approach to dining, the restaurant will serve food that has been produced in the immediate area, including olive oil, vegetables and fruit.
There are two individual dining options on the property, including The Restaurant, which will host up to 80 guests and serve an array of choices for breakfast and dinner.
The A-Bay Beach Bar, located just footsteps from the sea, will be a versatile all-day dining concept, operating as a boulangerie and café-bar in the morning, and doubling up as a trattoria and konoba fusion for lunch and dinner.
Right next to the hotel’s pools, with indoor and outdoor seating, The Bar’s expert mixologist will create cocktails using fruit, herbs and spices grown in the resort’s organic garden.
Open throughout the day, the Wine and Culture Club will see an expert concierge assist guests in creating a bespoke experience on the island.
It will also be a hub for those looking to learn more about Hvar’s history of winemaking, with a list full of celebrated local options.
